Unsilent Night

Music, art and architecture combine for an avant-garde experience! Locals brought their music players with speakers to create a moving symphony that moved from Cambridge City Hall through the historic downtown, everyone playing music composed by Phil Kline of New York City. While the ambient music delighted ears, eyes were treated to light installations along the route, including artist’s Jillian Mcdonald, Gareth Lichty, and Gary Kirkham. This event is the winner of the 2008 Best New Event (KW Arts Awards) and 2008 Breakthrough Award at the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce Business Achievement Awards!
